So we did a thing. A thing where we left our apartment at 4:15 AM, drove to Daytona Beach, and watched the sunrise. I've never been good at living in the moment. I suck at it to tell you the truth. I'm always wondering how I am going to get to where I'm going next and wishing my life was just a little more together than it is. But every once in a while, I really, truly live in the present. I should do it more often because it makes me realize how wonderful life can be even when you're working towards something else.
So embrace that fast food and sand lining the bottom of your purse because you never know how long it will be there.
